The Codes Enforcement Officer is responsible for issuing building permits and the follow-up required for the Certificate of Occupancy. He also fields complaints from residents about codes violations.
As a Reminder:
Projects 10' x 10' or larger require a building permit. If your project is $20,000 or over, two (2) sets of plans are required with a detailed plot plan. Proof of Workman's Compensation, Disability and Liability Insurance MUST be provided.
It is the owner's or the contractor's responsibility to contact the Building Inspector for required inspections.
